I'm James Burton, a British mathematician, cryptographer and information security professional who specialises in code breaking and cryptography. I've made my own maths and cryptography blog named "The Mathematician" to encourage others to learn about the subjects I adore. I'm involved in a few computing projects and have my own projects site under the title "NCSCCS".
I live in the Lake District which is stunning and picturesque. My proficiency is mainly in mathematics but I've got personal interests in other subjects such as chemistry, physics and astronomy. I'm always looking to further myself and take on them nearly impossible mathematical challenges that have never been solved before. Usually, at the end of the day, however, I enjoy sitting down, relaxing with a good book or getting stuck into a game of chess.
As for, my hobbies, I love travelling around England, researching & learning new information, reading various books and flying. I am also a gifted chess player.
